Ground Turkey

Ground turkey from birds raised on pasture. They spend their days outside foraging for bugs and grass. No hormones, no antibiotics, no shortcuts. Works for burgers, tacos, pasta sauce, meatballs, chili, and whatever else you’re making.

What it’s good for:

Use it anywhere you’d normally use ground beef, just adjust your cooking time since it goes faster. Brown it for tacos or pasta sauce. Form it into burger patties and toss them on the grill. Mix it with seasonings for turkey meatballs or meatloaf or add to chili or even fried rice. Works great in lettuce wraps or stuffed peppers. It’s leaner than ground beef but still has enough fat to stay moist if you don’t overcook it.

It’s versatile, which is the whole point. Looking for an easy weeknight recipe? Try our 2 Coots Ranch Inside-Out Burgers recipe and use turkey instead of beef. You’ll have it on repeat, we guarantee it.

Here’s what you’re getting:

Our ground turkey has better flavor than what you’d get from conventional turkey because the birds actually live on pasture. They forage for bugs, grubs, and grass, get plenty of sunshine, and supplement with GMO-free feed. That outdoor life means more flavorful meat than birds raised in confinement barns.

What’s even better? That life on pasture means you’re getting better nutrition from regenerative farming practices like rotational grazing. The rotation is better for the birds and better for the soil.

How you store it:

Keep frozen until ready to use for up to 12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight, or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water if you’re in a hurry (just keep it in the sealed package). Keep thawed ground turkey in the fridge for 1-2 days, or refreeze immediately if not using.
