2 Coots Ranch Inside-Out Burgers
Ready to shake up your burger game? At 2 Coots Ranch, we believe a burger should be bold, beefy, and just a little bit rebellious—so we flipped it inside-out! That means cheese, onions, and other tasty fixin’s are tucked right inside the patty!

Directions

🛠️ What You’ll Need (Makes 4 burgers):

  • 2 lbs of 2 Coots Ranch ground beef (or the best you’ve got!)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese (we like it spicy 🔥)
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 4 slices of thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional but highly recommended)
  • Salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder to taste
  • 4 sturdy hamburger buns
  • Your favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, ranch dressing—we don’t judge!)

🔥 How to Make ’Em:

  1. Prep the Filling
In a small bowl, mix your cheese, onions, and crumbled bacon. Set aside and try not to eat it all before the burgers are ready.
  2. Form the Patties
Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions. Flatten each one into a thin patty. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the cheesy mix onto 4 of them.
  3. Seal the Deal
Take the other 4 patties and gently lay them over the top of the filled ones. Pinch the edges real good—like sealing a meaty pie—so none of that cheesy magic leaks out.
  4. Season Up
Sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, and a touch of garlic powder. Simple, but it does the trick.
  5. Grill Time
Fire up that grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the burgers 5–6 minutes per side, or until they’re browned outside and the inside’s hot and melty. Don’t press down on ‘em—you’ll lose the goo!
  6. Build Your Burger
Toast your buns if you're feeling fancy. Load up with your favorite toppings, and don’t forget a big ol’ napkin. These bad boys are juicy!

🐄 Coots Tips:

  • Want to go wild? Add jalapeños or BBQ sauce to the filling.
  • No grill? Cast iron on the stove works just fine.
  • These freeze great—just wrap the stuffed, uncooked patties tight and save ’em for a rainy day.

Enjoy, y’all! Whether you’re feeding the family, the neighbors, or just two coots with big appetites, these inside-out burgers are a ranch favorite for a reason. Let us know how yours turn out—and tag us if you post pics! 🐮🔥🍔
