Cornish Hens - Whole

-

Small, tender, and fast to cook compared to a full-size chicken. From pasture-raised birds. Perfect for individual servings or a dinner-for-two.

What it's good for:

Roast them at 425°F for 45–55 minutes until they hit 165°F. Spatchcock them and they cook in 35–40 minutes. Grill them over medium heat with the lid down.

One bird per person makes serving easy. Season simply, they don't need much. Good with garlic, lemon, and herbs.

Here's what you're getting:

Cornish hens are a small, young breed of chicken. From birds raised on open pasture supplemented with GMO-free feed. More flavorful than a big roaster because of their size and how they were raised.

No hormones, no antibiotics. Just chickens raised right.

How you store it:

Keep frozen until ready to use for up to 12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight, or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water if you're in a hurry (just keep it in the sealed package). Keep thawed cornish hens in the fridge for 1-2 days, or refreeze immediately if not using.
