Chicken Gizzards

From pasture-raised birds. Listed as pet food, good protein source for dogs. Birds raised on open pasture with GMO-free feed, no hormones, no antibiotics.

What it's good for:

Great raw protein addition to your dog's diet. Or cook them in chicken broth until tender (about 45 minutes) for a dog-safe cooked treat. Some people also eat them, braised low and slow until tender, they have a rich, hearty flavor.

Here's what you're getting:

Gizzards from pasture-raised birds that forage on open pasture. High in protein, low in fat. 

If you've got a dog, this is honest, real protein from a source you can actually trace.

How you store it:

Keep frozen until ready to use for up to 12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight, or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water if you're in a hurry (just keep it in the sealed package). Keep thawed chicken gizzards in the fridge for 1-2 days, or refreeze immediately if not using.
